SEA - SPORT ACTIVE DAY

A day on the beach with lots of sea sports activities for enthusiasts!

Our sea sports program includes:
Jet skiing,

Banana (sea sled) riding,

Mini boat trips with glass bottom boat or a Pirates boat and lots of other fun activities.

The program takes about 5 - 6 hours and takes place during the morning.

If you wish to include lunch in the program the event will be arranged with the hotel so that a BBQ lunch Buffet will be incorporated.

SCUBA DIVING

We offer wreck diving to ancient and modern wrecks and scenic diving including caves and tunnels. A day trip with two dives is run each week (May to Sept. incl.) to Manijin Island and the wreck of the Achilleas. We also make half day trips by speed boat to the spectacular drop off at Jubilee Shoals and also to Devil's Head off the Akamas Peninsula. A weekly trip by mini bus to Larnaca is also offered for those wishing to dive the Zenobia.

There is a good selection of marine life including cardinal fish, squirrelfish, bream, wrasse, parrotfish, mullet, damsels, grouper, octopus and sponges. If you are lucky you may dive with turtles, tuna and barracuda. One night dive is offered each week.

Diving courses are also offered. The school has its own classrooms with the latest equipment to make lectures fun and theory easy to learn. There is also an area of sheltered sea water right outside the front door, and a very good selection of shallow easy sites to make first dives as fascinating as you could wish, with ancient and modern wrecks, archways and caverns plus good marine life. For advanced students there is a good selection of more adventurous sites.

The TSADA GOLF CLUB

The TSADA GOLF CLUB, the first grass course to be built in Cyprus, was completed in April 1994.

Located just 20 minutes from Paphos Town, on an elevated position 550 metres above sea level, ensures cool breezes during the summer months.

Historically, it has been part of the monastery of Stavros tis Minthis, which gives an air of timelessness and romance. The 18 hole course designed by Donald Steel in two loops of nine, reveals the subtle hand of a man who always allows a course to blend into its natural surroundings.

It plays to a par 72 and measures 6060 metres, a fine test for players of all abilities. The clubhouse facilities include a restaurant, bar, ladies and gents changing rooms with showers and outdoor swimming pool, tennis, a driving range and putting green.

The Pro shop offers clients an array of golfing accessories, a boutique, electrically powered Golf Carts and trolleys. A P.G.A. professional offers tuition and guidance.

SECRET VALLEY GOLF CLUB

The SECRET VALLEY GOLF CLUB is located 18 km east of Paphos and 49 km from Limassol, near "Petra tou Romiou" the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite, the Goddess of Love.

It lies in a scenic valley with grand trees adding to the new course's maturity and the beautiful scalped natural rock formations offer panoramic views to the golfer. It plays to a par 72 and measures 6120 metres.

Secret Valley promises players both the glories of nature and the glories of golf. The front nine offer four nice holes for warming up, two birdie opportunities and an easy dog leg (if you know how!). The back nine, plays longer than the first nine and the challenge starts immediately - no warm-up holes on this side.

Practice facilities include putting greens, chipping areas, fairway bunkers and a large driving range. Tuition can be tailored to suit individual requirements and teaching can be on an individual or group basis.

The clubhouse at Secret Valley as the one of Tsada, has a wooden interior and facilities including a fully stocked Pro shop, locker rooms, bar and restaurant with verandas overlooking the artificial lakes and the golf course.
