AKAMAS Peninsula - BATHS OF APHRODITE - POLIS - LATSI
The Akamas Peninsula is a unique area with
diverse features in vegetation, wild life, geology, landscapes and coasts.
After we have picked you up from your accommodation with one of our LAND ROVER
DEFENDERS, we will start a beautiful day out to AKAMAS. An unforgettable day, which we shall show
you, the unspoiled side of Cyprus.
Our first stop will be the REPTILE PARK
(Snake George ). Here you will get as well chance for coffee and for use of
rest facilities. We will then drive on to the entrance of the AVAKAS GORGE -
small canyon off the beaten track - where we will start a short walk to enjoy
its beautiful rock formations, small river flood inhabited by birds, rare wild
plants and the most beautiful flowers.
Our tour continues on through the AKAMAS,
where you will experience all of its magical beauty first hand.
Further on to LARA BAY, our next stop, very
famous bay for its GREEN TURTLES, with government operated turtle briefing
project and its crystal clear water. Next will be our visit to the BATHS OF
APHRODITE. The place where APHRODITE bathed and kept her lasting beauty
forever. Around midday it is time for a traditional CYPRUS LUNCH. Sure to be an
enjoyable experience. The opportunity to go swimming will arise, so remember
your swim wear. It is also advisable to wear comfortable shoes.
At approximately 17.00 the day will come to
a close, leaving you with long lasting memories and impressions of Cyprus,
which we hope you will share with your friends, old and new.
You will be accompanied by a well
experienced guide who will inform you about Flora, Fauna and all spots of
interest during the day.

TROODOS Mountains & KYKKO MONASTERY SAFARI
Discover TROODOS MOUNTAINS with its
beautiful flora and fauna. You will be picked up by one of our 4 WHEEL DRIVE
LAND ROVER DEFENDERS around 08.00 and our day will proceed as follow:
With in 40-45 minutes we start journey
through Pafos Forest towards STAVROS TIS PSOKAS and the forestry station where we
can view the MOUFFLONS, the rare wild sheep which is only found in Cyprus, and
which is also the emblem of our national carrier Cyprus Airways. Coffee and
rest facilities are available here.
We continue our journey to KYKKO MONASTERY,
known as ROYAL MONASTERY. Our adventure will continue towards PEDOULAS village
(the cherry village of Cyprus). It’s Time for an enjoyable traditional CYPRUS
LUNCHES. After lunch, we will then drive towards CALEDONIAN WATERFALLS with its
beautiful vegetation. You will have the opportunity to join us for short walk
along the beautiful nature trail. En route to MOUNT OLYMPUS we would then like
to offer you a wonderful SURPRISE before we actually start making our way back.
Back home approximately at 17.30.
